It is intended to be used for applications in metabolomics, clinical chemistry, biomarker discovery and general education. The database is designed to contain or link three kinds of data: 1) chemical data, 2) clinical data, and 3) molecular biology/biochemistry data. The database contains 220,945 metabolite entries including both water-soluble and lipid soluble metabolites. Additionally, 8,610 protein sequences (enzymes and transporters) are linked to these metabolite entries. Each MetaboCard entry contains 130 data fields with 2/3 of the information being devoted to chemical/clinical data and the other 1/3 devoted to enzymatic or biochemical data. Many data fields are hyperlinked to other databases (KEGG, PubChem, MetaCyc, ChEBI, PDB, UniProt, and GenBank) and a variety of structure and pathway viewing applets. The HMDB database supports extensive text, sequence, chemical structure, MS and NMR spectral query searches. Four additional databases, DrugBank, T3DB, SMPDB and FooDB are also part of the HMDB suite of databases. https://doi.org/10.25504/FAIRsharing.sye5js http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label The Human Metabolome Database https://doi.org/10.25504/FAIRsharing.sye5js http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#seeAlso https://hmdb.ca/ http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#provenance http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#assertion http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#wasDerivedFrom https://doi.org/10.25504/FAIRsharing.sye5js http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#pubinfo http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasAlgorithm RSA http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasPublicKey MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQDQhERLOLXMGB9OewEiwCGA6Nv2tNWO1CeQrY6JT026PuZ5rdf+CmTSdINGYyID6HPXDDZmhisgcP3ik3OEKyx7AyHr4b6MOkZOsaM+wpx+4DPqgFAhsMHEbwLN3xw47CknBow804OEviWTiKsitsKi7vZB12j9G0aBuqvar2pngwIDAQAB http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasSignature coMqTLGlF9g1sHLgOu4XXEcNWOnAfVlplAn7vSRUDAz1MjgQvmRAiETGoaw5+74GV14ga+aGIkMr3EHM8NSQNSh5YniaZ+zFW9mVykGM59PqDKRQ8SYXCHOdL/843jmLAuz27XnyZgB/sAsXx1JPoRnVBJ1wh9FkrRrNqMXaY1k= http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasSignatureTarget http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/dc/terms/created 2023-07-12T11:06:36.451Z http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/dc/terms/creator https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1062-5576 http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/dc/terms/license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/nanopub/x/introduces https://doi.org/10.25504/FAIRsharing.sye5js http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU http://purl.org/nanopub/x/supersedes http://purl.org/np/RA2LjC-Ww-GWIiHU6m1yWPdH9xBEcxSgNswjVhPPTKXRE http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromProvenanceTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAcTpoh5Ra0ssqmcpOgWdaZ_YiPE6demO6cpw-2RvSNs8 http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromPubinfoTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAA2MfqdBCzmz9yVWjKLXNbyfBNcwsMmOqcNUxkk1maIM http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromPubinfoTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAh1gm83JiG5M6kDxXhaYT1l49nCzyrckMvTzcPn-iv90 http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromPubinfoTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAjpBMlw3owYhJUBo3DtsuDlXsNAJ8cnGeWAutDVjuAuI http://purl.org/np/RAaw05RTuGdqn7IqMUdNr5y7L1e5IGKliTVYMUI9ucyYU https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAYC0MPERg8li59LSBfxFaOlO87OymxeEozf-CvmsxlMI
